I think it is very interesting that the museum is located on the site of a communications base that was used during the Cold War and that is something the majority of museums are not able to claim. The Cold War is something that many people in my generation know very little about. Visiting the museum, based on your description of the exhibits, can give someone who knows very little about the subject, a firsthand understanding of what the war meant and the factors that went into it. There is a lot of grey area in the material that is presented to today’s youth on the propaganda and fear that was used throughout this time in history. This museum seems to cover all aspects of the Cold War and I would like to visit it in person at some point in the near future.
