I have to say, after reading your bio, you are a very impressive young man. Not many people today would dedicate themselves to a year of national service in the way that you did. I commend you, sir. I also want to wish you luck not only in this class, but also in pursuing your master’s degree at UNH. Also, I was born in Hyannis, MA, so as a native New Englander/Cape Codder, I miss that area as well.
Hi Jonathan! I am Kierra. It is nice to meet you. I think it is awesome that you want to be a history teacher. I want to be a teacher as well. I am an American Studies major so I love history as well. It is awesome that you were in the Peace Corps. and that your experiences there helped shaped what you wanted to do. It is great that you have a plan, i really hope you fulfill it!
I would just like to say that I think it is wonderful that you volunteered to help children in needy schools, even going to the extent of trying to help them with their home life. I think that most of the time children in those situations really do need someone willing to listen, or help. It is amazing what you did and I am sure that you will be successful in all of your endeavors.
Hi Jonathan, it is great to see you volunteer. All to often we talk about change then do nothing to start it. That is at least why I started to volunteer. There are so many opportunities to help that if we each gave a few hours of our time we could make a huge impact in others lives.
