Welcome to Virginia. I enjoyed reading your path to Mary Wash and I want to thank you for your service. I wish you nothing but success in your pursuit for higher education and beyond. Good luck with graduating this coming December. I find it hilarious that you started your interest in World War II history due to a movie that was inaccurate. Most people take what they see for truth. However you went on and asked important questions top find the truth for yourself. I look forward to your projects and your ideas on my work.

Another prior military member, this is certainly the area for it. Just wanted to say, congratulations on the soon to be arrival of a new baby. I am sure your wife is happy you will not be doing anymore deployments. I know that is one of the hardest things about being a military spouse.
I will have to say I am a Cowboys fan myself!!! There is quite a lot of us here in Redskins country. LOL
As for the course, I have done a few papers on WWII, the WASPS (Women Airforce Service Pilots) which was something I had never heard about before. My area that I find very interesting is Colonial period and Early Republic, I really liked studying the seven years war. I enjoyed Native American class with professor Sellers.
Looking forward to a different time period.

I think people being fans of division rivals to their home team is a thing, you would be surprised how many Dolphins and Patriot fans I knew when I lived in Bills country.
Love the fact that after reading your introduction page I felt like you can still get caught in history. A real passion for history is a beautiful thing. I cant go without thanking you for your service and hope to learn a lot about history side by side in this class.

Hello Jeffery! My name is Shauna it is nice to meet you! Thank you for your service, and congratulations on your baby on the way! I hope you are enjoying living in Virginia although the weather is so different from Texas! It seems you have been all over with the Army, so I am sure you are used to it. I always like to see people who have different historical interests than me, and yours seem to be the exact opposite! What is it about military history that piques your interest? I have also been interested in previous wars in the history of America. At Germanna, I took Military History of the Civil War, and was surprised with the different strategies the South took to attempt to win the war. I do not know that much about WWII, but am looking forward to catching up. It grabbed my attention when you said that you keep up with politics. From hearing from other people, not many seem to keep up with that. It is nice to know that people still take notice of what is going on in our country today.
Hey Jeffrey, thanks for you service. I loved reading your Bio and seeing Canandaigua, New York. My wife is from Binghamton and would cut across the finger lake region to go there for concerts. We would visit the Finger Lakes when we lived in Buffalo, what a truly beautiful part of NY.
So far you are the only one that posted their BIO in a pdf format as we were suppose to do. I have never been good at following instructions. Have a great semester and congratulation to you and you wife… the baby is on its way.
