Hello Jeffery! I enjoyed your post a lot. I appreciated your additional research into the topic, and the links to additional information on the topic. You stated at the beginning of your essay that you thought “Westmoreland is often a prime scapegoat.” This implies to me that you do not believe he is to blame for the Communist victory. Why do you think this? Although no single factor can be to blame for any win or loss surely he shared some of the blame? The rest of your essay focused on how he negatively affected the war in Vietnam. I would be very interested in seeing how he positively impacted the war. Overall great job Jeffery!
