Hey Jeffrey
Great work on the abstract. While i compared the two website, this work makes want to look into Masny’s work. But first some thoughts. You said that the US was hesitant to weaken itself militarily since they were , at that moment, winning. Could it be possible that with that edge, the US citizens would have been against making terms with the Soviet Union? Hind sight is 20/20 since the US wins, but even with the strong anti-communism sentiment within the United States would the American people not want to end the tensions of the war? There was no way top know that the US would win so any chance of peace feels like something the two superpowers should do. It is wild how political the Soviets were as well./ They had their goals for sure. Thank you for your thoughts and I look forward to your projects in the future.
